A Different Kind of BBQ

Ah, the summer! Rain, sand, sun cream and after-sun! And what could be more British than a BBQ cooked under an umbrella and eaten in the living room on your knees?

I certainly love a good BBQ. Although I often get quite fed up of only having salad to accompany it. It’s good to have the traditional staples: burger, sausage, steak. I am also quite a big fan of cooking fish on the BBQ, a bit of smoked salmon goes down very well in my house. But sometimes it is good to mix it up a bit and try some entirely different accompaniments.

So, this year, rather than settling for a green salad and a few cherry tomatoes, I am planning on doing some BBQ themed canapés to keep my guests sated while the meat is sizzling. Mozzarella and Sun-dried Tomato Pesto
